Christine, I’m a 63 year old crone. If your “research” is accurate, my friends and I should all be dead because we all took the Pill for decades. Not one case of cancer. Not one.
I took the Pill because I was an unwanted, severely neglected and abused kid. I knew a whole lot of “right to life” people, but not one of these hypocrites intervened to protect my “right to life” after I was born.
The Constitution granted us ALL freedom of religion as well as separation of church and state. It was the Founders polite way of telling religious zealots of all stripes to mind their own damned business. You don’t get to be the boss of me or my body.
John, I read this evening that over 1,100 laws have been introduced this year to obliterate the rights of women. Yikes!

The studies that call the pill a cancer risk involve giving women between two to four times the dosage most women use. Yes, it turns out if you use some drugs too much they cause problems. This isn’t exactly news. Caffeine has also been listed as a carcinogen but again, it involves dosages that typical people don’t use.

Dr. Steven R. Goldstein, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Medical Center says, “My advice to women is absolutely no different tomorrow than it was yesterday,” Goldstein said. “In nonsmokers who have normal blood pressure, I think the benefits outweigh the risk. I think there’s good science that they have less ovarian and uterine cancer and I don’t think there’s good science that they will have more breast cancer, especially in the doses and the way we are using it.”

I tend to agree with that assessment.

I disagree with several things in your post, but I will limit my comments. The birth control pill is a Type I carcinogen, yet the liberals who advocate for the HHS contraceptive mandate indicate that they are advocating for women’s health. How is taking a Type I carcinogen in the interest of women’s health? Volumes of information exists regarding the health consequences of the pill and the manner in which tends to be misused when prescribed for medical reasons. In other words, when prescribed for medical reasons, the pill tends to be used as a substitute for more thorough medical exams and treatment. I have not seen liberals or the mainstream liberal media bring any of these issues to the attention of the general public.

I think that you should reconsider some of these issues.

Maybe a little off topic, however, Ron Paul cult members are obviously so well-imformed about everything*. They have special reality-detection abilities that the average American does not possess, so pay close attention when they speak.
I call their “gift” the “Timothy McVeigh Factor.” It’s like a sixth-sense for liberty.

Here’s a point to consider if you live in Tacoma. They are talking about laying off over 100 police officers soon. Couple that with the fact that they’re going to have to do more in the coming months, that means those that are left are going to take less crap from people. They can’t afford to. They will have less back up, less shift circulation, less relief. All good things to consider when you decide to get in one’s face when they’re asking you to comply.
