I’m a writer. As a child, I wrote stories for fun. In high school, I wrote for underground newspapers and the Tacoma Youth Initiative. In recent years I’ve written content and marketing materials for companies as well as published a book. Then there’s all the writing that can be found here at jackcameron.com and at my site dedicated to my hometown, tacomastories.com.
More than anything, I’ve always been interested in storytelling. Whether it’s a story in a bar, a comic book, a TV show or a well put together ad campaign, I see the story in everything. People remember and learn from stories better than anything else. This is why you can more easily tell me what a movie was about than who was in it. This sort of thing has always fascinated me.
Lately, I’ve become very interested in marketing, brand building and personal branding. One in thirteen people in the world is on Facebook. Whether they’re aware of it or not, they’re telling a story. This site and my other links below are part of my story. Thanks for stopping by.
